Masterplan to bring into full use part of a quarry and associated lands, as a town centre extension to the historic market town of Chipping Sodbury.
Developer Chelverton Deeley Freed, in association with quarry owner, Hansons, are set to develop the 10 Ha of land with a Waitrose foodstore, and create 300 new homes, a new town centre car park and major new sections of public realm.
The proposals hinge on a new link from the High Street created by opening up one of the historic burgage plots with small retail and commercial units leading to a new bridge over the River Frome.
