Sophisticated development brief for 37 Ha business park for Trinity College and development partner Quadrant Estates. Secured a renewal of the outline planning permission and was adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) by the council.

Starting with Enquiry by Design stakeholder participation this document provided a responsive methodology for developing the land that could allow intensification and diversification of use over time.

As proof of this, a need for a local centre became apparent and it was a relatively easy matter to secure a detailed planning application for the different use in north east corner because the local authority could see that it conformed with their SPG – the development brief.

The whole of the eastern section of the land is now under development having laid mostly fallow since the 1980’s.
