We have just completed a feasibility study for this property. We called it a Needs & Options review. It enabled our client to formulate a plan of action for upgrade work, which aligned budget with aspirations. It included both spatial improvements (layout adaptations, extensions etc), and functional improvements (technical, building fabric, building services etc).
It revealed:
- some aspirations were not technically achievable;
- others could be done but probably wouldn’t be cost effective; and
- others would best be carried out in the future when more funds might be available or it might become clear that moving house would be a better option
